1. Build a household profile
Choose household size, planning length, weekly budget and preferred supermarket. Then tell Farefully which proteins, ingredients and meal styles your household loves, dislikes or never wants suggested.
2. Add dietary requirements
Farefully keeps wheat-free separate from gluten-free and Coeliac settings, and supports additional allergen and dietary filters. Hard dietary rules are not relaxed simply to fill a plan.
3. Generate the plan
The recommendation engine scores suitable meals using household fit, budget, cooking time, variety, pantry overlap, recent plans and practical signals such as batch cooking and freezer suitability.
4. Swap or regenerate
You can swap individual meals or ask for another plan without redoing household setup. Farefully remembers recent plans so “new ideas” actually means something different.
5. Turn it into a basket
The shopping list deducts pantry quantities and estimates pack costs. Where a recent verified product snapshot is available, Farefully can use that. Otherwise it falls back to its supermarket benchmark model and tells you that it has done so.
6. Make it yours
Add custom family recipes with ingredients and methods. They can then appear in plans, swaps and the basket like built-in recipes.
